WWE SummerSlam 2019 is here

Clap Them Cheeks

It’s the extravaganza of the summer from the world of professional wrestling, WWE SummerSlam 2019 is upon us!

Not considering the shit job Smackdown did this week as a go-home show for the PPV this looks like a pretty decent card. The usual mix of full and part-timers, a returning star (Trish Stratus), and some exciting matches like Finn and Bray to look forward too.

SummerSlam 2019

What time does WWE SummerSlam 2019 start?

  • Date: Sunday, Aug. 11
  • Time: 5 p.m. ET (preshow) | 7 p.m. ET (main card)
  • Location: Scotiabank Arena, Toronto
  • TV channel: WWE Network (PPV)
  • Live stream: WWE.com/livestream+

The show has been held in Brooklyn the past 4 years and Los Angeles the 6 years prior to that. So will this change to Toronto be a one off or carry on for the next few years? I guess the crowd will be the judge of that.

How to watch WWE SummerSlam 2019, how much does the PPV cost?

WWE SummerSlam 2019 will be available for purchase on pay-per-view or via the WWE Network. I’m a Network subscriber and self-professed lover of all things Pro Wrestling so I’ll be hanging out in the living room with a cold one while the show is on 🙂

The WWE Network is available at WWE.com or by downloading the app on the majority of smart TVs – including Samsung, LG, Sony, and Panasonic – as well as Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Kindle Fire, Roku, Google Play, and Chromecast. Final Thoughts on WWE SummerSlam 2019

It’s going to be a long night. Just like WrestleMania. 5pm start time and likely done 5+ hours later. Maybe a porta-potty?
